How It Works

Digital Foil comes in two main series: P Series and T Series. Each has its own unique application process:

Digital Foils P Series

Process:

1. Print Design:

Create your design and print it on digital machines, including MGI and Scodix presses.

2. Apply Foil:

Use heat and pressure or UV light to adhere the foil to the printed areas.

3. Enhance with Varnish (Optional):

Add a raised varnish for a 3D effect and enhanced texture.

4. Finalize:

The foil will adhere to the varnished areas, creating a metallic finish.

Digital Foils T Series

Process:

1. Print in Black Toner:

Print your design in rich black toner on a digital press.

2. Laminate with Foil:

Pass the printed sheet through a heated laminator to adhere the foil to the black areas.

3. Finalize:

The foil will create a reflective and metallic finish on the printed image.

Advantages

No Dies Needed:

Unlike traditional hot stamping, Digital Foil doesn't require expensive dies, saving costs.
